Well were back in lovely Texas where its still 100 degrees.
Our suitcases are unpacked and groceries have been bought. I guess its time to get back to business. As of tomorrow I'll be at school from 9:00 to 6:00 with an hour and a half lunch break. No more working 11:00 to 6:30 with no sanity break. :)
I'm happy to be back at home to help Patricia out. One arm is in a sling and the stitches on a finger on the opposite hand. Thank goodness her faced didn't get messed up and she didn't get hurt worse.

Friday
This morning we went to town to run some errands. I've been intrigued by a sign that has been catching my eye for the past two weeks that says "Fresh Strawberries." Bill being the best husband in the world followed the signs through unknown parts of town until we found the strawberry farm. There energetic young men picking strawberries.
We are now in the process of making homemade strawberry jam. I love making homemade edibles. :)

Vacation
When its fifty degrees there's nothing better to do than bake cookies. The final count was 83 cookies. We delivered cookies to neighbors to make their day sweeter.
Bill caught the first keeper of the year. We saw a northern pike out by the front reeds unfortunately he wasn't interested in our bait.
The next day Bill had good luck again. The fish I was catching were a joke.
We made two trips to the Farmers Market to buy killer zucchini's so we make zucchini relish for the year. Bill was disciplined by the farmer for mishandling the zucchini's and possibly bruising them! We didn't it was possible to injure squash.
Yesterday I had a lesson on how to drive the row boat using the trolling motor. I'm happy to report that neither Bill or I fell over board and I only went in circles for the first five minutes of the lesson. My hat is off to Bill he makes controlling the boat look easy. :)
